iPhone battery replacement restores iOS's full battery health reporting and, critically, removes the Performance Management throttle Apple applies when a battery drops below safe voltage output. Every iPhone from the 6S onwards has Performance Management — a feature that sounds helpful but is frustrating in practice: it slows your CPU during demanding tasks to prevent unexpected shutdowns. iPad battery replacement covers all iPad generations. iPad batteries are more accessible than MacBook batteries but still require proper technique. iPad mini from $79, iPad Air from $89, iPad Pro from $99.
