The Camera Control is the iPhone 16's signature new hardware feature — a capacitive, pressure-sensitive button on the lower right edge that controls the camera with swipes, taps, and holds. If Camera Control becomes unresponsive or triggers intermittently, it's typically a flex cable issue or connector fault. We assess Camera Control as part of the standard diagnostic process.

Battery replacement on iPhone 16 models takes advantage of Apple's new electrically-assisted battery removal — a small electrical charge releases the adhesive holding the battery in place, reducing the force needed and the risk of display damage during battery service.
