Samsung's Hideaway Hinge uses multi-bar linkage to maintain display geometry through folding — it's remarkably well-engineered, but not invulnerable to wear, grit ingress, or physical impact. Stiff hinges are often cleanable; damaged hinge mechanisms may require a hinge assembly replacement, which we assess and quote case-by-case.
